Did anyone else hear Busted won Record of the Year?! I was foolishly hopeful this year that with the new voting system a more deserving act would win, boy was I wrong.
I'm sorry but Busted's "Thunderbirds" was not the best record of 2004 and I know these polls don't mean anything but even Anastacia or Will Young deserved the title more, at least they're pleasant 'radio' songs...but Busted. God no. I don't know anyone who knows that song, could sing it or even reasonably hum the bloddy thing. It annoys me that they have another award to fuel their already toxic egos....hoo-hum...
Next year the awards will be called "The record of the year that has attracted the most votes from 14 year old school girls who have way too much credit on their phones, yet doesn't mean much because this award has no credibility within the music industry anyway 2005"
Hmmm....Not as catchy is it?
